A member of the Polyceridae family they are elongate with a high body shape. The rhinophores are lamellate, retractile into pockets that may have sheaths. The gills are generally non-retractable and positioned midway down the dorsum in a cluster. They are yellow/green with blue/green blotches on the notum and sides of the body. The gills and rhinophores are blue/green or with blue tips.
